Data engineer

iPerform is a Data & Analytics player that assists its clients on the road to digital intelligence. The amount of data generated today is growing exponentially. We transform this data into useful information for our clients and are involved in the entire process from roadmap to post-implementation care.

We are seeking a medior consultant to join our team of data engineers. In this role, you will work on projects involving the setup and development of data platforms, the construction of data pipelines, and the creation of applications and data lakehouses.

Your expertise will help to improve the efficiency and reliability of data-driven decision-making. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to continuously enhance your expertise in cloud data and analytics.

Profile

Experience & education

You have a couple of years of experience as a data engineer or ETL developer
You have a bachelor’s / master’s degree in an IT direction or equivalent through experience

Technical skills

SQL has no secrets for you
Good general knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS…)
Knowledge and expertise in Databricks, Snowflake, DBT… is a plus

Soft skills

You are communicative, motivated and reliable
Problem solving and proactive thinking are not a problem for you
Team player, but also able to work autonomously
Your great adaptability enables you to switch smoothly to new customers and projects

Other competences

Ideally, you can communicate fluently in Dutch, French and English
Agile and scrum project methodology are familiar to you
You are in possession of a driver’s license B. Our offices are in Kontich, our customers are mainly situated in the triangle Brussels – Antwerp – Ghent.
